Hi everyone! This week I am working on root motion for the AI and also did some research on visual effects for the greatsword that the player will be using. Blending the idle state with root motion for the AI while in combat with the player. There are still some bug with the character rotation when turning towards the player, which will be fixed in the later date when we have the proper animations to test the system.
These are some visual effects research that I come across which are useful when creating the sword slash.
