Hey peeps, this week is the continuation of designing the level. I am going to add more details and places of interest. Hopefully, you all wouldn't be too bored by the content I am going to post today.
General
The unity project was updated to 2019.3.0f3. This version of unity allows the creation of terrain holes which will be useful to make structures and underground systems.
Level Design
From last week, I have added some rocks in the terrain to spice up the level, currently, the level is made up of sculpted terrain with mountains and valleys. It is all smooth and the tiling effect can be seen throughout the level. By adding rocks and place them against the mountains, it makes it look slightly more natural.
Placed a ruined tower into the level with some debris on the ground. I was trying to picture a guard tower which can oversee the valley from afar and it acts as an information tower which can relay messages quickly to other towers or cities.
That's all for this week, most of the time I spent was on adding the rocks and adjusting them to fit the terrain and environment which was really tedious. See you all next week!
